Refund and Returns Policy for Geek Fix

Thank you for choosing Geek Fix. We take great pride in sourcing third-party accessories, retail products, and replacement parts to keep your devices running perfectly. Please read our refund, return, and exchange guidelines carefully before making a purchase or booking a repair.

By purchasing products or approving repair services at Geek Fix, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Third-Party Brand & Supplier Disclosure

Geek Fix is an independent sales and service provider. We do not manufacture proprietary electronic goods, accessories, or parts.

  • We source all of our inventory, retail items, and replacement hardware components directly from specialized third-party suppliers and brand manufacturers.

  • Because we do not own these brands, our return capabilities are structurally linked to the commercial return policies granted to us by our distribution networks.

2. Our Core Policy: Exchange Only

At Geek Fix, all sales are final. We do not offer cash, credit card, or debit card refunds for changes of mind, buyer’s remorse, compatibility mistakes, or accidental purchases.

Instead, we offer a strict Exchange-Only Policy under the following parameters:

  • Retail Products & Accessories: If an item you purchased (e.g., a case, charger, or cable) is structurally defective or non-functional out of the box, you may return it within 14 days of the original purchase date for an exact swap of that identical item.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide your original physical or digital Geek Fix store receipt/invoice to process an exchange.

  • Item Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging with all original box contents, manuals, and accessories included.

3. The Strict Exceptions for Financial Refunds

We will only process a financial refund to your original payment method under these two specific scenarios:

A. Total Product Unavailability

If an item or repair part we supplied is proven to have an out-of-the-box manufacturer defect, and Geek Fix no longer carries or cannot physically source that specific item from our suppliers to fulfill a clean swap, a full refund will be issued.

B. Supplier/Manufacturer Refund Approval

Because we purchase all inventory from external brands, if a product fails under warranty and the underlying supplier or brand manufacturer officially approves and issues a financial credit or refund to Geek Fix for that unit, we will pass that refund directly back to you. If the supplier denies the credit or only offers an item swap, your remedy through Geek Fix will remain an exchange only.

4. Repair Services & Warranty Limitations

Because physical labour and specialized diagnostic hours cannot be undone, our $0 Labour Cost framework means you are paying solely for the third-party hardware components utilized during your device repair.

  • Store Warranty Protection: All hardware repairs (such as screen swaps, battery placements, and charging port fixes) are backed by our dedicated store warranty against manufacturer defects.

  • Defective Parts Swap: If an installed repair part stops performing properly during your warranty window, we will gladly exchange it for a fresh, functional component at zero cost to you.

  • Accidental Damage Exclusion: Our warranty strictly covers internal component malfunctions approved by our parts suppliers. It does not cover physical drops, new glass cracks, pressure spots, scratches, or subsequent liquid exposure that occurs after the device leaves our shop.

5. How to Process an Exchange or Claim

If you experience an issue with a retail product or a repair part we supplied, please follow these steps:

  1. Bring the device or retail product directly into our Vaughan / Woodbridge retail shop.

  2. Present your original store invoice or order number to our service desk.

  3. Our technicians will quickly inspect the hardware to verify the manufacturer defect. If an instant swap is unavailable, we will contact our supplier network to initiate the replacement or refund clearance process on your behalf.
